I followed the directions exactly, and when I put the card in the reader, the blue light flickered once, and nothing came up on screen. A few card readers worked under Dapper, but most had to wait until Edgy for card reader support. Is it a compatible card; What I’m doing wrong; Thanx for your help. The laptop came with windows 7 Pro 64bit installed however. Thanks very much Luke. This is one tricky TI card to get working. It seems to be working reliably now.

Am I using the wrong instruction? Can not even able to see any kind of storage controller in the lspci output. Is there any hope for the memory stick to work under linux?
Anybody have any idea on how to fix this and get my internal card reader working? I can read and write SD cards have not yet tested other cards. No card mounted after insertion I upgraded to Edgy and now I’m dv50000 to get my card reader to work.

Just to summarize my knowledge about TI drivers: This is a generic interface supported by many manufacturers, so it will provide support for lots of controllers, including many TI controllers which will not work otherwise.
