There is a ground going from the negative terminal on the aux power supply to the negative terminal on the vista panel. Tuxedo Keypads, Honeywell vouce and parts.
Thanks for your help! If the sirens are not sounding correctly, most likely you will need a separate power supply for ademo voice siren driver. How would grounding it to the battery make the vista activate the sirens for a CO alarm? Vice login or register.

Currently the older voice siren driver is on its own aux power supply, and the wave 2 siren is hooked directly into the panel siren output.
So when I install the newer VSD3, how is it going to get triggered since it doesn’t appear that adsmco panel is triggering the siren output for a CO alarm? The others are suicides.
The Wave 2 siren is hooked directly into the siren terminals on the panel and that does not make a aeemco when the alarm is activated for CO, only the keypads beep. I currently have the Ademco X3 voice siren driver installed on my Ademco vista 20p system.

I plan to upgrade the driver to the newer version VSD3 since the older one is only capable of doing Burglary and Fire. Exit panel’s programming mode I plan on installing the new driver tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes.
